Handy Bottle Openers

Considering the fact that it's New Years Eve and I am stuck home recovering from the flu, I thought it would be a cool idea to post some handy dandy bottle openers. Not only are they stylish and convenient, but they are perfect for ringing in the new year!

Happy New Year!

Ringing in the New Year with new arrivals from Nasty Gal.

I am obsessed with Nasty Girl and when I saw their new arrivals I of course did my happy dance. These are some of my favorites. If I could have posted all the new arrivals I would have!

Find them all here.

The Gospel According to Megan

Two days before Christmas my wonderful HP Laptop crashed. It was truly a "bah humbug" moment and hopefully I will be able to get it restored. The point of the matter is I am temporarily using my dad's monsterous computer until then and will not be able to upload personal pics. Not being able to upload pictures onto this computer, I have created a collage of some of my favorite presents.
It may not be the most well put together collage you've seen but bear with me.

The Gospel According to Coco Chanel by Karen Karbo; Urban Renewal Kimono Jacket; Cheap Monday Patch Jeans; Chanel 440 Gold Lame Nail Polish; Kardashian Konfidential; Betsey Johnson Tights.

Those are only some of my favorites gifts. I am truly grateful for all my gifts and I could not be happier with them. I had a wonderful Holiday with my family and I hope you guys did as well.

You talk to the ceiling every day.

These beauties are one of the gifts I got for christmas. Jessica Simpson Dany heels.

We got a little snow here the day after Christmas, so while locked inside the house I listened to some fitting music, painted my nails, and read Style by Lauren Conrad (another Christmas gift).

Some of my favorite parts of the book so far are the list of online Sample Sale websites and the loads of other websites in various categories it offers. It's also convinced me that I need to see a cobbler for my shoes and a tailor, asap.

This is my dog, Daisy. She likes to lay in front of the heating vent in this weather. And she wasn't happy about her Santa hat we got her for Christmas, but we thought she looked adorable.

And this is what I wore on Christmas. That's my cousin there behind me :) I look like I'm sitting on her lap, Santa style haha. White sweater: Charlotte Russe, Sequin Top: can't remember, Velvet Leggings: Joyce Leslie, Wanted Boots.

Velvet Crush.

Recently I've been obsessing over velvet. I remember last year hearing that it would be really popular this winter, but I never believed it. Shame on me... Here are some items I've been lusting over.
Clockwise from top: Romper from Free People, Betsey Johnson Dress from Urban Outfitters, Bodycon dress from American Apparel, Leggings from American Apparel, Free People heels, Wedges seen on Jesse Jo Stark (unknown where from), and last but certainly not least the Jessica Simpson Dany heel.
